Description

Learn to successfully install, operate, configure, and maintain Cisco routers and switches. You will gain competency with Cisco IOS-based devices and ISR-capable routers. Crucial elements of this course include the coverage of IPv4 subnetting, ACLs, VLANs, as well as Static and Dynamic Routing which are all needed for success at all levels of Cisco certification. Learn how to operate and set up a small enterprise network, as well as gain skills needed to plan, implement, and monitor a scalable routed network. Classes are focused on routing protocols for both IPv4 and IPv6: EIGRP and OSPF for an enterprise and BGP for enterprise Internet connectivity. Also explore how to redistribute routes, implement path control, and secure Cisco routers. You will create an efficient and expandable enterprise network and focus on Layer 2 and multilayer switch functions including VLANs, trunks, inter-VLAN routing, port aggregation, spanning tree, first hop redundancy, and network security and high availability features. You will also monitor and troubleshoot routed and switched networks through extensive hands-on lab exercises, practicing various troubleshooting methods, approaches, procedures, and tools.
