Supply List:

Paper: 12" x 16" block of watercolor paper or indivdual sheets that can be cut down.

Best brands – Arches, Fabriano, Blick

Palette: Large - 10 ½" x 10 ¼" when opened up

Blick brand folding palette box is one of the best for the money.

Small – 8" x 8" when opened

Paint:

Cadmium Yellow (Hue)

Quinacacrdone Red

Pthalo Green

Ultramarin Blue

Prussian Blue

Violet

Titanium White (optional)

Brushes:

1 inch to ¾ inch flat

Size 10 round

Size 6 round

Size 2 round

Loew-Cornell, Prinston, Windsor & Newton, Grumbacher are all good brands to work with. Make sure you get short handled brushes….approximately 6 to 8 inches. An oil or acylic can be as long as 10 to 12 inches and too long for watercolor work.

Water Containers: 2 plastic

Tape: I like to use green Frog Tape. 1 to 1 ½ inch is best. Good quality masking tape also works but no blue or purple does not work well.

Pencil: Most any pencil will do, but I like to use .5 mm lead pencils as you never have to sharpen.

Kneaded rubber eraser

Ruler or triangle

Paper towels for wiping up water & controlling amount of water you have on your brush.
