PART 1: Whether you're a beginner or have finished your first novel, this writing course will take you step-by-step through the important fundamentals of writing novel-length fiction. Subjects covered include plotting, character development, world building, strong narrative voice, dialogue, and traditional and indie publishing.

PART 2: This advanced class will challenge participants with more writing and critique opportunities. Students will explore in greater detail the need for world building and complex characters as well as the intricacies of pacing, editing, and critique. Discussion will also include the best ways to navigate both the traditional and self-publishing industries.
