Description

Due to UVU COVID regulations, we have had to suspend enrollment for this course.

Join us for a weekend of incredible camera techniques, breathtaking landscapes, great company, and delicious food! Lodge at UVU's state-of-the-art field station located inside one of Utah's most spectacular national parks. Learn how to change night into day with long exposures; then wake up early and literally step outside your door to photograph the sunrise! Experience the different effects focal length can make to landscape photography. Take in all that Capitol Reef has to offer with its sheer canyon walls, winding streams, and incredible rock sculptures! Focus on how to do light painting, star trails, landscape, and slow shutter speed. Food will be provided, and some light hiking and group cleanup is required. Please bring your SLR or interchangeable-lens camera. Students will carpool to and from Capitol Reef. There will be a mandatory pre-trip meeting the week before.

There are 3 openings remaining at this time.

Online registration is not available at this time. Please contact our office for more information.
