Mary Jane McGuire

Mary Jane McGuire has been a Family & Consumer Science Teacher for over 19 years. The classes she has taught include Fashion Strategies, Beginning Sewing, & FACS Exploration for grades 7-9, after school needlework classes, summer sewing and cooking classes. She has been a costume designer and assistant dresser for drama department.

Mary Jane is a Quilt and Sewing Class Instructor: Mormon Handicraft (Quilt Shop) for 15 years as well as a beginning and intermediate quilting class instructor. She has over 25 years experience as a personal tailor. She has owned her own business sewing, designing, & alteration of wedding and other dresses, suits, costumes, and a variety of interior designs.

Her education includes a Masters Degree in Family Sciences from Brigham Young University and a Bachelors Degree in Home Economics Education also from Brigham Young University.
